Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and unit test features for a business-critical website

Requirements

What you’ll need

6 or more years of full stack technology experience in J2EE and front-end technologies
Solid command of Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, React, Node.js, Next.js, NestJS, TypeScript, Micro-Frontends, JPA/Hibernate/iBatis, REST APIs, GraphQL, SQL, Oracle, and DB2
Familiarity with Apache Tomcat, AWS, and microservices
Strong knowledge of release, build, and configuration management practices
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Familiarity with the insurance domain
Ability to prioritize and manage work while adhering to critical and aggressive project timelines in a fast-paced environment
Extensive experience in Software Development Life Cycle Management using Scaled Agile, Scrum, and Kanban
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Minimum of a BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent
Reside in New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania
Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
