Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee and evolve our newly centralized Rating and Quoting operations across multiple product lines
Set strategy, drive consistency, and enable high‑performing teams to deliver accurate, timely, and competitive proposals for mid‑ to large‑size groups
Collaborate with and set process for people leaders and their teams that generate proposals
Responsible for rating and quoting process for dental, life, disability, supplemental health product lines
Develop and implement rating and quoting process that enables the teams to achieve key performance indicators
Encourage an environment where innovative ideas to improve process are embraced and implemented
Drive consistency of process across teams
Successfully balance workload across teams
Develop and support skill advancement
Build and maintain effective relationships and feedback mechanisms with sales and internal partners
Enable the teams to deliver high levels of rating and quoting service, quality & productivity
Develop and implement strategies to meet turnaround time and quality during times of peak quote volume

What you’ll need

A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
A minimum of 5 years of leading teams in a production environment
The proven ability to manage both day to day execution and initiatives to achieve results of business goals
Excellent interpersonal communications skills both written and verbal
Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
Exceptional leadership skills to effectively manage a large team in a virtual environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure
People oriented leader with exceptional ability to inspire teams creating high performance.
