About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own and drive the global product line strategy and roadmap for fiber-led enterprise connectivity solutions with supporting copper applications
Lead the full product lifecycle from concept through commercialization and end-of-life
Define and execute NPI strategy with engineering to deliver application-driven fiber solutions
Translate customer and field insights into product and technology requirements
Own portfolio performance, growth, margin, and profitability
Develop and execute pricing strategy and support key customer engagements
Partner with Sales and customers across enterprise buildings, structured cabling, and commercial data centers
Evaluate competitive dynamics and position Molex solutions around performance, scalability, ease of deployment, and total cost of ownership
Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, operations, and supply chain
Lead continuous improvement across cost, quality, and portfolio optimization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in product management or product line leadership within fiber optics, connectivity, structured cabling, or related infrastructure markets
Strong business and financial acumen with ability to connect strategy to results
Proven ability to translate customer and market insights into actionable product strategies
Experience working cross-functionally in technical environments
Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience owning a global product portfolio with P&L accountability is preferred
Experience with fiber optic interconnects or fiber cabling systems is highly preferred
Exposure to copper solutions as a complementary capability
Familiarity with enterprise building infrastructure or commercial data center environments
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders
Approximately 10% travel
