About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, coach, and develop sales representatives across the East Coast through training, one-on-one coaching, field ride-alongs, customer meetings, and performance reviews
- Deliver recurring training on fire sprinkler and fire alarm inspections, service, repairs, NFPA requirements, sales techniques, pricing strategy, and industry best practices
- Own regional sales performance, including pipeline development, forecasting, conversion rates, sales activity, revenue growth, and individual representative performance
- Establish expectations and action plans for representatives who are not meeting sales or activity goals
- Drive consistent CRM utilization and maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, customer, and sales activity data
- Partner with business unit leadership, operations, estimating, and service teams to ensure sales commitments can be executed
- Lead national account strategy execution within the East Coast region
- Support rollout and management of multi-location and national customers across markets
- Build relationships with subcontractor and vendor partners to support national service delivery and geographic coverage
- Negotiate pricing, scopes, and service agreements while maintaining margins and service standards
- Participate in strategic customer meetings, presentations, contract negotiations, and escalations
- Identify new market opportunities, target accounts, and industries for regional organic growth
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and ramping new sales representatives
- Serve as senior point of contact for critical customer escalations and complex sales opportunities
- Build a high-performing, accountable East Coast sales organization and strengthen coordination between sales and operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive experience in fire sprinkler and fire alarm service, inspection, and repair sales
- 5+ years of sales leadership or management experience in the fire protection industry
- Strong knowledge of fire protection inspection and service environments
- Familiarity with NFPA 25 and NFPA 72 required
- Ability to coach, train, motivate, and hold sales teams accountable for measurable performance
- Understanding of pipeline management, forecasting, sales KPIs, pricing strategy, and margin management
- Experience working cross-functionally with operations, estimating, service, and executive leadership
- Ability to build executive-level customer relationships and navigate complex organizations
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Comfortable in a fast-growing, hands-on environment
- Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the East Coast region
- National account experience highly preferred, especially with multi-location customers and complex enterprise relationships
