Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a team of systems and data analysts, including coaching, mentoring, and day-to-day support
- Own the department portfolio of improvement projects and ideas, establishing prioritization and metrics for decision-making
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify system enhancement opportunities and influence development roadmaps
- Oversee implementation of reimbursement-related system enhancements
- Provide technical guidance and serve as the subject matter expert on process improvements
- Ensure appropriate data is provided and used for performance monitoring and improvement measurements
- Analyze data and generate reports for senior leadership to identify trends and issues
- Monitor billing industry trends and best practices in billing systems and processes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Translate enterprise business strategy into functional roadmaps and execution plans supporting company priorities and KPIs
- Develop multi-year capability plans for scale, automation, and growth
- Own reimbursement vendor relationships and recommend systems strategy, process governance, and operational priorities
- Establish governance for process improvement, portfolio prioritization, technology investments, and operational standards
- Develop policies and enterprise standards for reimbursement operations
- Ensure consistency of operational practices across reimbursement functions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of progressive experience in process improvement, analytics, and/or engineering leadership
- Proven track record of leading multiple operational project executions with impactful outcomes
- Solid understanding of insurance billing processes and regulations a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment with demonstrated ownership of large-scale business transformation initiatives
- Experienced with Excel (statistical functions), data visualization tools such as Power BI, SFDC, or Tableau, and presenting data to senior leadership
- Ability to manage a portfolio of projects using trade-off methodologies to ensure strong return on investment
- Curiosity, sound judgment, and ability to critically evaluate and responsibly leverage AI-enabled tools in accordance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements
- Background screening including criminal history required
