Account Executive – Screening
Guardant HealthAccount Executive promoting the Shield™ colorectal cancer test to healthcare providers at Guardant Health. Collaborating closely with sales leadership to influence go-to-market strategies for new cancer screening technologies.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate closely with sales leadership to shape go-to-market strategies and launch new cancer screening technologies
- Promote the Shield™ colorectal cancer blood test to healthcare providers
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals through effective prospecting and relationship-building
- Focus on building strong relationships with healthcare providers, gaining commitment to adopt the Shield test for CRC and other cancers
- Provide in-depth product knowledge and training to primary care practices
- Work closely with clinical, marketing, and product teams to align sales strategies
- Identify new business opportunities within your territory
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of 4 years of customer-facing sales experience in the healthcare industry (diagnostics, medical device, or pharmaceutical sales)
- A minimum of 2 years of customer-facing sales experience in healthcare and clinical experience in a patient care environment (registered nurse or physician assistant)
- Experience with diagnostic products, particularly blood-based testing or cancer screening products, directly to primary care providers (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to engage in selling conversations, overcoming objections and aligning client needs with product offerings
- Strong understanding of the healthcare provider landscape with the ability to quickly learn and apply technical product knowledge
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Veeva, or similar platforms
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Superior negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills
