About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure mobile applications meet the highest quality standards.
  • Enhance manual QA processes, particularly for feature-specific tasks and writing manual test cases.
  • Be critical in release management, ensuring that each sprint's output is rigorously tested.
  • Refresh and update regression and feature-specific tickets.
  • Develop and execute manual test cases, focusing on expanding regression pack in BrowserStack.
  • Triage and prioritize issues in Jira.
  • Work closely with engineers to understand new features and create test plans.
  • Monitor key platform vitals in Sentry.
  • Foster a quality-first approach within the Product Engineering team.
  • Define critical smoke tests and expand test coverage.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party automation teams to align efforts.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in mobile-focused QA, with a track record of enhancing test processes.
  • Deep knowledge of iOS and Android platforms, including intricacies like deep links, notifications, and local storage.
  • Proficient in using BrowserStack for cross-device testing, test case management and visibility.
  • Strong skills in defining and managing comprehensive regression packs.
  • Familiarity with error-tracking tools like Sentry and similar analytics tools.
  • Experience with Jira for issue tracking and sprint management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive ownership and collaboration.
  • Advanced/Fluent English level.
