About the role
- Design, build, and extend back-end systems using Supabase, leveraging database, auth, and edge function capabilities.
- Develop and maintain TypeScript-based APIs and integrations that underpin renew’s platform and data services.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to deliver end-to-end features and performant, user-facing experiences.
- Contribute to the evolution of renew’s internal automation tools and data pipeline implementations.
- Work closely with product, data, and AI teams on new integrations — from analytics and forecasting to blockchain-enabled features.
- Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability while maintaining lightweight, maintainable systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack or backend development with strong proficiency in TypeScript.
- Practical experience with Supabase.
- Solid understanding of API design, database schema design, and serverless architecture patterns.
- Ability to contribute across the stack — from backend logic and data modeling to key front-end integrations.
- Experience working independently in agile, distributed teams.
- Familiarity with AI or ML integrations at the application level.
- Knowledge of blockchain, digital asset verification, or sustainability data systems.
- Experience with data visualization, analytics tools, or geospatial data.
