About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner directly with oncology brand and business-unit leadership to translate complex commercial data into portfolio-performance decisions
  • Develop and implement analytics plans supporting brand and business priorities
  • Identify and implement customer segmentation and targeting strategies across marketing and sales channels
  • Conduct physician, account, and patient segmentation analyses
  • Analyze patient adherence and persistence
  • Perform brand performance and advanced analytics, including marketing mix modeling
  • Execute customer targeting and scenario planning for resource shifts
  • Identify KPIs and establish data collection and business rules for performance assessment
  • Analyze internal and external real-world data to generate disease and competitor landscape insights
  • Transform complex real-world datasets through hands-on data manipulation and statistical analysis
  • Perform ad hoc and deep-dive secondary research analyses of market and competitive dynamics
  • Improve efficiency and capabilities through innovative analytics and process automation
  • Partner with stakeholders to design and implement analytics-ready datasets
  • Liaise with market research colleagues to generate and present cohesive quantitative and qualitative insights
  • Liaise with forecasting colleagues to provide data-driven assumptions
  • Share best practices and build cross-geography capabilities with Global Strategic Insights
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, business-unit leadership, Forecasting, Commercial Data Management, Tech, and Payer Marketing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related discipline
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing analytics within a biotech or pharmaceutical organization, or at a leading global management consulting firm
  • Experience applying marketing fundamentals and analytics frameworks to defined business objectives
  • Experience with analytical and data management tools including SQL, Snowflake, SAS, R, and Python
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  • Experience analyzing pharmaceutical secondary data sources, including patient and claims data
  • Experience conducting real-world data analyses
  • Experience working in oncology
  • Experience in drug development and commercialization processes across one or more product lifecycle stages
  • Experience managing multiple projects, deliverables, or stakeholders with overlapping deadlines and competing priorities
  • Experience presenting analytical findings and recommendations to senior commercial leaders
  • Experience updating reports, analyses, or project deliverables based on stakeholder feedback
  • Strong data analytics foundations and experience connecting analytics to business decisions
  • Proven and advanced collaboration skills and cultural sensitivity
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to work effectively across a matrix environment and influence without formal authority
  • Understanding of the business impact of diversity and inclusion
