About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain respectful, professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists and other local healthcare partners.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan driven by customer insight and local needs.
- Share clear, accurate, science-led information to support healthcare professionals’ decision-making.
- Record activities, outcomes and customer insights accurately using company systems.
- Work with cross-functional colleagues to resolve customer needs and improve patient access.
- Keep learning about clinical evidence, market trends and practical ways to improve performance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution.
- Minimum 1 year of customer-facing field sales, territory management, or similar experience.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly within the territory.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages used in Mangalore.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Right to work in India.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical, medical device or healthcare field sales (preferred).
- Comfortable discussing clinical evidence and explaining scientific concepts to healthcare professionals (preferred).
- Strong planning, organisation and time management skills (preferred).
- Ability to use customer insight and basic data to guide activity and prioritise work (preferred).
- Fluency in Kannada, Konkani or other local languages commonly used in Mangalore (preferred).
- Motivation to learn, adapt and take on increasing responsibility (preferred).
