About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain respectful, professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists and other local healthcare partners.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan informed by customer insight and local needs.
- Share clear, accurate, science-based information to support healthcare professionals’ decision-making.
- Record and report activity and outcomes accurately using company systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to resolve customer needs and improve patient access.
- Continuously learn about clinical evidence, market trends and practical ways to improve performance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution.
- Minimum 1 year of customer-facing field sales, medical business, or territory management experience.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly within the territory.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and relevant local languages.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Right to work in India.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical, medical business, healthcare sales or medical liaison roles (preferred).
- Comfortable discussing clinical evidence and scientific concepts with healthcare professionals (preferred).
- Strong planning, organisation and time management skills (preferred).
- Ability to use customer insight and simple data to guide activity (preferred).
- Fluency in Marathi, Hindi or other local languages commonly used in Mumbai (preferred).
