About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain respectful, professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists and other healthcare partners in the Salem and Hosur territory.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan informed by customer insight and local patient needs.
- Share clear, accurate and science-led information to support healthcare professionals’ decision-making.
- Record activities, outcomes and customer insights accurately using company systems.
- Work with cross-functional colleagues to resolve customer needs and improve patient access.
- Continuously learn about clinical evidence, local market trends and practical ways to improve performance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution.
- Minimum 1 year of customer-facing field sales, medical business, or territory management experience.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly within the territory.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages commonly used in Salem and Hosur (for example Tamil and Kannada).
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Right to work in India.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical, medical or healthcare field roles (preferred).
- Comfortable discussing clinical evidence and explaining scientific concepts to healthcare professionals (preferred).
- Strong planning, organisation and time management skills (preferred).
- Ability to use customer insight and basic data to guide activity and prioritise work (preferred).
- Fluency in Tamil and/or Kannada and strong local market knowledge (preferred).
