About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and cultivate a world-class team of biostatisticians, dedicated to advancing the field of biostatistics within Oncology Biostatistics in RWDMA.
Provide strategic guidance and biostatistical expertise to stakeholders using RWD in R&D, epidemiology, and post-approval studies.
Spearhead methodological development and innovation in areas such as causal inference, clinical outcomes assessment, longitudinal modeling, evidence synthesis, precision medicine, and the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Collaborate with leaders in other biostatistics teams and across R&D.
Oversee the preparation and dissemination of scientific publications, white papers, and presentations to communicate research findings to the scientific community.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ph.D. or M.S. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field;
Minimum of 12 years of experience in biostatistics within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academia, or healthcare industry, with a focus on real-world data.
Proven track record in leading teams and developing talent.
Expertise in methodologies relevant to real-world data, including causal inference, clinical outcomes assessment, predictive modeling, and evidence synthesis, with strong capabilities in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Extensive experience in statistical methods using RWD, with a record of publications contributing to the field of RWD.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and with external partners.
