Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage physicians and allied health professionals across independent practices, physician groups, and hospital systems to drive appropriate prescribing of GSK products
- Drive territory sales and market share growth across promoted COPD, asthma, and anti-infective products through targeted, compliant, evidence-based customer engagement
- Own territory business planning; analyze sales data and execute actions to meet goals
- Develop dynamic call plans and collaborate with local territory colleagues to maximize reach and frequency
- Build strong partnerships with Marketing, Payer Relations, Medical (MSLs), and other internal stakeholders to align strategy and resources
- Plan and deliver in-services, educational programs, and sample distribution in accordance with FDA regulations and company policy
- Complete administrative responsibilities accurately and on time
- Comply with GSK policies, ethical standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS from an accredited institution
- Valid driver’s license; driving is an essential function of this role
- Willingness to travel within the territory, including occasional overnight and weekend travel, based on business needs
- Minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical or business-to-business sales experience for Grade 8
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical or business-to-business sales experience for Grade 7
- Bilingual preferred based on location
- Account management experience within local IDNs/large hospital systems
- Experience in respiratory/allergy or other healthcare sales
- Familiarity with managed care, formularies, retail pharmacy operations, prior authorization processes
- Strong presentation, influencing and business planning skills
- Self‑starter with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
