About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for execution of the external engagement strategy
- Implementation of the external engagement plan aligned to Therapy area strategies
- Work with medical colleagues and partners to identify External Experts
- Respond to unsolicited information requests from healthcare professionals
- Disseminate important safety information to the healthcare profession
- Conduct scientific exchange for a GSK medicine
- Deliver scientific/pipeline presentations to formulary committees
- Maintain expertise in scientific/therapeutic area and competitor medicines
- Attend both national and regional scientific/medical meetings
- Support clinical development activities and programs
- Conduct discussions and meetings with steering committee members
- Provide scientific training for GSK sales representatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Pharm. D or Ph. D, DNP, or MD (with a medical or clinical focus)
- Two or more years' experience in pharmacology and pharmacotherapy in humans
- Must live within territory specified
- Residency of Post-Doctoral training in a clinical/pharmaceutical practice setting (preferred)
- Pharmaceutical industry experience or medical liaison experience (preferred)
- Above average computer literacy, including experience with software applications (preferred)
