About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for execution of the external engagement strategy aligned to the therapeutic portfolio
  • Implement external engagement plan aligned to therapy area strategies
  • Work with medical colleagues to identify External Experts, professional groups, and key stakeholders
  • Respond compliantly to unsolicited information requests from healthcare professionals
  • Disseminate safety information to healthcare profession as directed
  • Conduct scientific exchange for a GSK medicine
  • Deliver scientific/pipeline presentations to formulary committees and HCPs
  • Maintain expertise in evolving scientific/therapeutic area
  • Attend national and regional scientific meetings
  • Support clinical development activities and programs
  • Provide general insight into GSK research interests and inquiries

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Pharm. D or Ph. D, DNP, or MD (with a medical or clinical focus)
  • Two or more years' experience in pharmacology and pharmacotherapy in humans
  • Must live within territory specified
  • Residency of Post-Doctoral training in a clinical/pharmaceutical practice setting (preferred)
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience or medical liaison experience (preferred)
  • Previous clinical experience demonstrating decision-making authority for patient care (preferred)
  • Above average computer literacy, including experience with software applications (preferred)
