About the role

  • Develop and deliver high-quality machine learning solutions for the US Anti-Infective business at patient, HCP/EE segment, and health system levels
  • Support analytics priorities including Segmentation, Measurement, Omnichannel Resource Allocation and Optimization, and Experimental design (test/control) analyses
  • Understand and recommend data science opportunities to uncover drivers of gaps in scientific understanding and patient unmet needs
  • Act as a data science expert and contribute to GSK’s data science community, best practices, and data literacy
  • Earn stakeholder trust through engagement, advanced analytics expertise, and business knowledge to drive data-driven decisions
  • Establish and define project plans, seek inputs, and deliver milestones according to plan
  • Collaborate on cross-matrix teams and demonstrate subject matter expertise to drive efficiencies and seamless decision making
  • Use storytelling and powerful visualizations to present insights and enable fact-based recommendations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ yrs of Industry experience OR master's/PhD with 1+ yrs of Industry experience
  • 1+ years’ experience applying analytics and statistical skills in a business setting
  • 1+ years’ professional experience with analytics tools/languages and visualization tools
  • Proficiency in analytics tools/languages such as SQL, Python, PySpark, and visualization tools
  • Proficiency in statistical and ML models
  • Ability to proactively identify areas for analysis and apply machine learning where appropriate
  • Familiarity with healthcare-related datasets (claims data e.g., Express Scripts, CVS Caremark, IQVIA), pharma retail data, co-administration analysis, buy-and-bill processes (preferred)
  • Effective communicator with strong business acumen (preferred)
  • Analytic curiosity and enthusiasm for leveraging Real World Data (preferred)
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaborative partnership skills (preferred)
