Director, Performance Intelligence – Global Clinical Development Operations

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Accountable for converting DevOps performance and productivity data into strategic insights
- Set and govern performance measurement frameworks
- Steer benchmarking and progress evaluation
- Identify and frame targeted interventions that improve cycle time, predictability, and delivery effectiveness
- Lead the development of high-impact insight packs, narratives, and executive-level performance summaries
- Synthesize complex, multi-source data into clear points of view
- Act as a thought partner to senior stakeholders, shaping performance questions and options
- Lead internal and external benchmarking activities
- Own advanced resource, capacity, and demand intelligence
- Partner closely with Finance and Planning functions to align performance, resourcing, and financial views
- Promote a fact-based, insight-led decision culture across Development Operations and R&D
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field
- Extensive experience within Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or a closely related environment, with strong exposure to clinical development, development operations, or R&D delivery
- Demonstrated ability to connect and analyze data, and leverage it to inform sound business decisions
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize data and create robust visualizations of data to convey messages
- Demonstrated expertise in performance analytics, KPI frameworks, benchmarking, and decision intelligence in a matrixed organization
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders without formal authority and operate credibly at executive level
- Experience partnering with Technology, Data, and Finance teams to shape analytic solutions and improve data quality and automation
