About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report to the VP of Marketing for US Specialty
- Function as the commercial leader for the brand
- Cultivate a performance-driven culture
- Empower individuals to reach their full potential
- Develop, implement, and measure the impact of the US brand strategy
- Lead a team of US marketers
- Drive brand performance across a key asset within GSK’s Respiratory Biologics portfolio
- Achieve annual brand and sales and profit targets
- Oversee creation and implementation of strategic and operating plans
- Manage product lifecycle
- Manage short- and long-range forecasts
- Ensure reliable supply and fiscally responsible management of supply chain operations
- Set direction and ensure strategic alignment across functional stakeholder groups
- Define metrics & assess brand performance
- Maintain detailed understanding of disease and competitive marketplace
- Define customer insights, journeys, and segmentation; product positioning; creative strategy, core messaging and content plans; integrated, cross channel promotional mix
- Provide feedback to US Medical Affairs and global teams to ensure evidence generation is fit for purpose across the brand lifecycle.
- Partnering with global commercial teams.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 10 years’ commercial experience including sales or marketing
- Minimum of 6 years of marketing experience
- Experience in US healthcare brand marketing
- Experience in direct people management
- MBA or MPH preferred
- Sales leadership experience: with a preference in Specialty Sales
- Business and Financial acumen
- Experience with biologics and/or buy-and-bill and/or specialty pharmacy models preferred
- Broad commercial experience, including: Brand lifecycle management
- Senior leader engagement
- Matrix team leadership
- Category / disease and product strategy development
- Customer insight, messaging, campaign, and creative development
- Agency management
- Budget management
- An understanding of channels, pricing, and market access strategies.
