About the role
- Manage a team of 6-8 Medical Project Managers supporting oncology early, late and launching assets.
- Establish clear performance expectations in collaboration with business partners.
- Monitor performance progress and track delivery against annual goals.
- Cultivate a culture of executional excellence by maintaining high standards in planning, delivery, and effective stakeholder management.
- Engage in Project Management Leadership Team meetings, collaborating to shape central team strategic priorities.
- Support capability-building initiatives by ensuring implementation of best practices across therapies.
- Drive operational excellence using project management tools and implementing performance dashboards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or related field, or equivalent commercial experience.
- Considerable and proven experience within the pharmaceutical industry in Medical Affairs and Oncology.
- Experience leading and coaching high-performing teams and driving change across organisations.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Understanding of core Medical Affairs processes (e.g. Medical Planning, Scientific Engagement Planning, data generation).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to guide decisions and improve performance.
- Effective time management, ability to clearly identify priorities and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience to work and influence senior stakeholders.
- Understanding of the lifecycle of pharmaceutical drug development and commercialisation.
