About the role

  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS, and preparation of consolidated reporting under IFRS
  • Maintenance of records required for tax purposes
  • Participation in balance sheet strategy, taking commercial and tax law requirements into account
  • Support in preparing the annual corporate (management) report
  • Collaboration with and technical support for the sub-ledger
  • Point of contact for auditors, tax auditors and tax advisors

Requirements

  • Completed commercial or tax specialist vocational training (possibly with further qualifications), or a degree with a focus on finance and accounting
  • Relevant professional experience in (general) accounting or ideally in a comparable position
  • Good knowledge of accounting under HGB (IFRS desirable)
  • Good English skills (minimum B1 level)
  • Experience with SAP is an advantage but not a requirement
  • Excellent analytical skills, initiative and conscientiousness
  • High degree of personal responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Strong team orientation and communication skills
