About the role
- Identify, engage, negotiate with, and onboard trader KOLs, trading communities, and professional traders to promote and utilize the exchange.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with traders, signal groups, and crypto communities to encourage ongoing platform usage.
- Conduct cold outreach and manage partnership discussions with potential collaborators.
- Support the design and execution of referral, rebate, and promotional programs to attract and retain traders.
- Stay up to date on crypto trends, competitor exchanges, and rising KOLs or trading communities.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Support teams to ensure smooth onboarding and sustained engagement.
- Track, analyze, and report the effectiveness of partnerships, including user acquisition and engagement metrics.
Requirements
- 2–5+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Partnerships, preferably in crypto, fintech, or influencer marketing.
- Solid understanding of crypto trading, exchange ecosystems, and KOL dynamics.
- Active presence or strong familiarity with platforms like Twitter, Telegram, and Discord.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated with a hunter mindset — comfortable with cold outreach and closing deals.
- Japanese language proficiency, especially for engaging with Japanese-speaking users, partners, or communities.
- Nice to have: Existing network or working relationships with KOLs, professional traders, or crypto community leaders.
