About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the preparation, updating and governance of Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and IT Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP);
  • Support the conduction of Business Impact Analyses (BIA), with a focus on information systems, applications, data and technology dependencies;
  • Identify critical processes and systems, defining RTO, RPO and operational impacts;
  • Support assessments of technological and cyber risks, considering unavailability of information systems (IS), infrastructure failures and third-party dependencies;
  • Contribute to the definition and validation of IT/IS continuity and recovery strategies (backup, contingency, high availability and DR);
  • Assist in monitoring tests, simulations and exercises for IT/IS continuity and DR, recording evidence, lessons learned and action plans;
  • Work together with Information Security, Infrastructure, IT and vendors to ensure alignment between continuity, system architecture and security controls;
  • Support responses to IS incidents and crisis management involving unavailability or degradation of systems;
  • Support internal and external audits and compliance requests related to continuity and technology;
  • Maintain inventories of critical systems, technology dependencies and strategic IT/IS vendors;
  • Support training and awareness activities on continuity, operational resilience and incident response.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related fields.
  • Experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, risk management or operational resilience, with hands-on work in Information Systems and Technology environments.
  • Knowledge or certifications in frameworks and standards such as: ISO 22301 (Business Continuity); ITIL; COBIT; ISO 31000 (Risk Management); ISO 27001 (preferred).
  • Experience in large-scale environments or critical sectors (financial, telecom, energy, industrial, essential services);
  • Knowledge of system architecture, IT infrastructure, on-premises and/or cloud environments;
  • Experience with IT disaster recovery concepts (DR), high availability, backup, RTO and RPO;
  • Familiarity with continuity management tools, system inventory, CMDB or process automation;
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies applied to continuity and technology projects;
  • Ability to engage with technical and business teams, translating technical requirements into operational impacts.
