About the role
- Plan and execute purchasing activities for imported materials, ensuring the availability and quality of products required by the company while considering cost, lead time and product quality.
- Monitor the import process for materials, ensuring compliance with regulations and customs procedures.
- Coordinate the flow of imported materials from purchase order issuance to final delivery to production.
- Monitor inventory levels of imported materials, ensuring sufficient availability to meet company demand.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, evaluating performance, resolving issues and pursuing continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments such as Production, Logistics and Finance to ensure efficient integration of imported materials planning and purchasing activities.
- Perform cost and performance analyses, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and improved operational efficiency.
- Produce regular reports on imported materials planning and purchasing activities, providing relevant information to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
- Experience and knowledge in planning and purchasing imported materials (purchase order issuance and monitoring).
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
- Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
- English: Intermediate level.
