About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead demand projections and potential market volume (PMV) forecasts for the category by analyzing internal and market data to support positioning decisions and the S&OP process.
  • Manage the product life cycle for products under your responsibility (launch, phase-in, phase-out) by monitoring the ABC curve and performance indicators to maximize profitability (M+/MG/MS) and portfolio competitiveness.
  • Build business cases for new product development and to address portfolio gaps through demand studies, competitive landscape analysis and financial feasibility assessments to expand offering completeness and drive revenue and margin.
  • Monitor price positioning and market share versus competitors through research and benchmarking to identify opportunities and recommend strategic adjustments.
  • Plan and support the execution of competitiveness and commercial activation campaigns, together with Trade Marketing and Sales, to accelerate demand and product turnover in the category.
  • Manage portfolio inventory levels (slow movers and excess stock) and propose actions for productive idle capacity by analyzing turnover indicators to reduce losses and capital tied up.
  • Act as an interface between Innovation/R&D and commercial teams by translating technical specifications into value propositions to support the launch of competitive solutions.
  • Collaborate with the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process by consolidating and analyzing demand data to ensure the accuracy of sales and production planning.
  • Prepare technical materials and commercial trainings (technical datasheets, strategic presentations) by producing clear content on attributes and value proposition to support the sales force in execution.
  • Track category performance indicators using BI tools (Power BI) by building dashboards and reports to provide visibility into results and support data-driven decisions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience in Product Marketing, Category Management, Trade Marketing, Product Engineering, R&D or Innovation, with an analytical and data-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Office (particularly advanced Excel); familiarity with SAP is desirable.
  • Specialization/MBA in Marketing, Business Administration or related areas is desirable.
  • Intermediate English.
