About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical leadership for the development of highly complex, high-investment and innovative building product projects, following established internal methodologies and procedures.
- Develop new products for the building product line from concept through technical detailing, using design and engineering tools in accordance with applicable product and country standards.
- Serve as the technical owner for the building product line, supporting technical assistance and commercial teams with information about product characteristics and applications.
- Assess the technical feasibility of opportunities for new products, ensuring compliance with standards and the physical principles of operation.
- Identify new market opportunities and trends by participating in national and international trade shows, industry events, visits to partner companies and suppliers, and field research.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Postgraduate degree, MBA or specialization in Project Management and/or Product Design, or other studies related to the building product line.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Advanced English.
- Experience in product development in the pipes and fittings segment.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in product development for the building product line.
- Preferred: Advanced Spanish.
