About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute and review accounting close processes, ensuring the accuracy of information and compliance with established deadlines
Technically coordinate complex account reconciliations (assets and liabilities), ensuring the integrity of reported balances
Analyze and validate manual journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation, evidence, and supporting materials
Interpret and apply accounting standards (CPC/IFRS), proposing adjustments and improvements to departmental processes
Perform fixed asset analyses, including depreciation calculations, transactions, and financial impacts (including foreign exchange variations)
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, proposing solutions that increase efficiency and mitigate risks
Ensure the maintenance and updating of internal controls, guaranteeing traceability and compliance of information

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Solid experience in accounting close processes in medium to large companies
Experience supporting external audits
Advanced knowledge of accounting standards (CPC and IFRS)
Proficiency in SAP FI/CO (emphasis on GL – General Ledger and AA – Asset Accounting)
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with complex account reconciliations and Record to Report (R2R) processes
Basic English (reading and technical interpretation)
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of Power BI
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, PDCA)
Experience with accounting consolidation
Experience in multinational corporate environments
Knowledge of financial system integrations (FI, CO, BW)
