About the role

  • Calculate and analyze carrier costs: cost per km, per delivery, per ton, and per route.
  • Manage freight budget: tolls, third-party carriers, rentals, and drivers.
  • Analyze variances between actual and budgeted figures and support financial explanations.
  • Validate and design cost allocation models by customer, route, DC (distribution center), and business unit.
  • Build and maintain cost dashboards and logistics financial KPIs.
  • Support supplier/vendor negotiations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or Industrial/Production Engineering.
  • Experience in analyzing and controlling operational costs.
  • Experience with budgeting, variance analysis (actual vs. budget), and monitoring financial indicators.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model in Joinville, SC (Brazil).
  • Experience with logistics or transportation costing.
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools such as Power BI.
  • Experience with systems such as SAP.
  • Experience in profitability analysis and decision-support.
