About the role

  • Route planning and control: Execute the routing process for shipments, considering cost optimization and service level.
  • Management and contracting of road transport: Manage freight logistics and oversee carriers/suppliers to ensure transport efficiency and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Monitoring and analysis of KPIs: Develop and track performance indicators such as cost per ton, service level, and logistics savings.
  • Preparation of management reports and improvements: Create analytical reports to support decision-making and implement logistics optimization initiatives.
  • Project management and continuous improvement: Apply methodologies to analyze causes of extraordinary costs, optimize logistics processes, and reduce expenses.
  • Management of digital carrier platforms: Supervise digital transport platforms, manage freight expenses, monitor opportunities to maximize load utilization and operational efficiency, and evaluate specialized service projects for clients in the building and corporate segments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Logistics, Business Administration, or Transportation Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and presentation.
  • Experience with ERP systems for logistics operations (preferably SAP).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to interact with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Preferred qualifications
  • Previous experience in logistics operations, especially road transport and cargo handling.
