About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and monitor the area’s macro KPIs (Roll rate, Recovery, Delinquency) and report results to the executive board and to the schools.
Direct management of two coordinators (Planning and Operations), ensuring their development, integration between functions and synergy in new projects.
Lead the implementation of new projects in the area, negotiating contracts and coordinating the involved departments. Extensive interface with the product and technology teams.
Select, hire and monitor the performance of external collection agencies focused on recovering inactive students.
Work in close collaboration with school directors and the commercial team on collection and re-enrollment strategies, implementing initiatives to maximize the Group’s results.
Manage the area’s budget (Opex and Capex), seeking the best efficiency between operating cost and recovered value and ensuring return on newly implemented projects.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven track record in collections management, preferably in the education or services sector.
Demonstrated experience leading coordinators or supervisors.
Strong command of collections metrics, vintage/cohort analysis and familiarity with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) for interpreting indicators.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Financial Management or a related field.
Strong negotiation skills, systemic thinking, resilience and excellent interpersonal communication.
