About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate the Group's infrastructure teams: Middleware, Linux, GCP and Databases; Networks, Telecom and Security; and Windows;
- Lead a technology modernization agenda, from cloud migrations to information security projects;
- Ensure the stability and reliability of the production environment;
- Develop and track the area's technology roadmap in partnership with engineers;
- Discuss and prioritize the project and operational demand backlog, negotiating resources and deadlines with internal stakeholders;
- Approve and champion major projects before the executive committee, preparing business cases;
- Define the teams' working methods, including rituals, ceremonies and management practices;
- Manage on-call rotations and 24x7 operational coverage for the teams;
- Coordinate crisis management and post-incident actions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Networks, or related fields;
- Experience in server infrastructure and data center environments (on-premises and cloud);
- Experience with cloud computing, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and equivalent services;
- Experience administering enterprise databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, etc.);
- Experience in corporate networking, telecom, and management of connectivity providers;
- Experience in information security and cybersecurity (firewalls, EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, and incident response);
- Knowledge of ITSM practices and SLA management in 24x7 environments;
- Knowledge of Windows environments, including Office 365, multi-factor authentication, storage, backup policies, and update management;
- Knowledge of Active Directory (AD DS, GPOs, OU structure) and integration with Azure AD/Entra ID;
- Knowledge of Windows Server and its core services (DNS, DHCP, File Server, IIS, RDS);
- Knowledge of patch management and vulnerability management (WSUS, SCCM/Intune or equivalents);
- Knowledge of Windows security (access control, privileges, ransomware protection, and integration with EDR);
- Knowledge of virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V) and cloud integration;
- Knowledge of Microsoft licensing (SA, SPLA, EA, Microsoft 365 and Azure);
- Ability to support the Information Security team on topics related to secure development and the use of AI;
- Clear, objective, and assertive communication skills with different audiences, including technical teams and the executive committee;
- Sense of urgency, with the ability to prioritize, make decisions under pressure, and respond to critical incidents;
- Execution-oriented profile, with monitoring and management of deadlines.
