Import Analyst, Junior
Grupo PinhoJunior Import Analyst coordinating logistics and customs processes for international trade. Ensuring compliance and efficiency in import activities with a focus on continuous improvement.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor and manage import processes, ensuring that all stages and deadlines are met.
- Manage receipt of files sent by exporters, perform initial review and follow up on outstanding issues.
- Request corrections and coordinate necessary actions with clients, suppliers and other parties involved in the process.
- Review, analyze and approve import documents, ensuring documentary and regulatory compliance.
- Approve shipments and monitor processes with international trade stakeholders.
- Create and update process follow-ups, maintaining internal controls and up-to-date information.
- Enter, prepare and update processes in the OSGT system.
- Complete and maintain operational controls in Excel, ensuring traceability of information.
- Control and verify CE Mercante, CCT, cargo arrivals and cargo presence.
- Review import processes, including DI/DUIMP registrations, ICMS handling and issuance of Electronic Invoices (NF-e).
- Monitor customs clearance stages, clearances with MAPA and other competent authorities.
- Submit documents and track them on the Portal Único Siscomex.
- Manage pending issues related to process and cargo releases.
- Organize and send necessary documents for cargo collection and release.
- Track cargo releases in port and airport terminal systems.
- Maintain contact with clients, customs brokers, carriers and other participants in the foreign trade chain.
- Manage, organize and control original document files.
- Track and record import processes carried out under Special Regimes.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and the company's internal policies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, seeking to optimize activities and increase operational efficiency.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Higher education (in progress or completed) in Foreign Trade, Business Administration, Logistics or related fields.
- Proven experience in import customs clearance.
- Knowledge of systems related to foreign trade activities, including Portal Único, Siscomex and management systems.
- Knowledge of customs legislation, regulations, special regimes and customs risk management.
- Experience with Excel and other technology tools applied to process management.
- Intermediate level of English.
- Analytical, organized, proactive profile with good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple simultaneous demands.
