About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the flow of import and export purchase orders, overseeing all stages of the operation through to delivery of the goods
Monitor shipments, customs clearance procedures and documentation, ensuring compliance with legislation and established deadlines
Maintain relationships with suppliers, customs brokers, carriers and internal stakeholders to align operations
Control operational costs, process financial entries and monitor payments related to foreign trade operations
Identify and resolve operational incidents, proposing improvements to increase process efficiency
Prepare KPIs and management reports, and keep systems and internal controls up to date
Provide technical support and guidance to P.O. Management Assistants in day-to-day operational routines

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in International Trade, International Relations, Logistics or related fields
Proven experience in import and international trade operations
Knowledge of customs legislation, special regimes and tax rules
Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
Analytical, organized and proactive profile, with good interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
