About the role

  • Perform documentary analysis of import processes, ensuring compliance with current legislation;
  • Issue Import Licenses (LI) and LPCO, liaising with relevant regulatory agencies (Inmetro, Ibama, Anvisa, DFPC);
  • Register Import Declaration (DI) / DUIMP and monitor customs clearance;
  • Execute ICMS release according to the requirements of each state;
  • Manage cargo release with customs, interfacing with partners and customs brokers;
  • Support and handle special procedures, when applicable (temporary admission, RECOF, single DI, customs warehouse, drawback suspension/exemption and dispatch over water);
  • Maintain operational controls and track deadlines using spreadsheets;
  • Ensure prompt and accurate follow-up with clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in progress or completed in International Trade, International Relations, Logistics or related fields;
  • Solid experience in import and foreign trade;
  • Knowledge of customs legislation, special regimes and taxes;
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills;
  • Analytical, organized, proactive profile, with good interpersonal communication and ability to work in a team.
