About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Evolve Generative AI services and platforms already deployed in production;
Develop and maintain agents with tool-calling, RAG, external integrations, and synchronous and asynchronous flows;
Build Python automations for internal needs, operations, and processes across other company areas;
Integrate language models, internal APIs, queues, databases, storage, and corporate tools with a focus on security, observability, and governance;
Develop AI solutions beyond text, including multimodal use cases and computer vision as demand evolves;
Define technical standards for prompts, context, evaluation, fallbacks, cost, performance, and operation of models in production;
Translate business problems into scalable, sustainable technical solutions;
Support the technical maturity evolution of AI projects, elevating scripts and proofs-of-concept to more robust solutions where appropriate.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience with Java 21+ / Spring Boot 3.x in production projects;
Mastery of modular or hexagonal architecture, REST API design, and enterprise integrations;
Hands-on experience with LLMs in production — agents, prompts, function/tool calling, RAG, embeddings, streaming, and cost control;
Experience with Python for automations, batch jobs, integrations, and AI services;
Experience with FastAPI or equivalent frameworks for building Python APIs;
Knowledge of Kafka, asynchronous processing, retries, idempotence, and distributed workflows;
Experience with MongoDB and at least one vector search technology such as Qdrant or pgvector;
Experience with OAuth/OIDC, Keycloak, or Azure AD for identity and authorization in enterprise environments;
Experience with secrets management (Vault or similar) and secure integration with corporate environments;
Ability to design AI solutions with focus on operability, observability, security, and maintainability.
