About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan and execute the category’s OTB (Open to Buy) for e-commerce
Track supplier orders, deliveries, and deadlines through delivery to the Distribution Center
Monitor sell-through, inventory coverage, stock levels, COGS, and category margin
Identify opportunities and risks related to stockouts, overstock, and slow-moving inventory
Define and monitor action plans for replenishment, purchase reductions, and markdowns
Work closely with the E-Commerce Commercial team to define prices, promotions, and campaigns
Analyze performance by model and subcategory
Monitor competitors’ prices, products, and strategies
Develop and present buying plans and clearance strategies
Work collaboratively with Commercial, Marketing, Planning, Business Intelligence, and Logistics teams
Own KPIs related to sell-through and inventory coverage, gross margin and COGS, OTB compliance, supplier performance, inventory availability, and the reduction of SKUs with no sales

Requirements

What you’ll need

Analytical professional with a strong results-oriented mindset
Experience in buying within footwear retail, sports fashion, or the athletic footwear category
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Power BI or similar tools
Experience negotiating with suppliers
Ability to turn performance metrics into strategic buying decisions
Autonomy in decision-making and inventory management
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Production Engineering, or a related field
Intermediate or advanced English is a plus
Experience buying for the e-commerce channel is a plus
Knowledge of marketplaces and digital retail dynamics is a plus
Experience with dynamic pricing/repricing tools is a plus
Experience with promotional calendars and digital campaigns is a plus
