About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure revenue integrity and manage accounts receivable related to Distribution Center (DC) operations, Transportation (own and third‑party) and Cold Chain (third‑party storage and transport).
  • Manage the overdue receivables portfolio, working closely with Supply teams and reporting to executive forums.
  • Control end‑to‑end B2B operations, including order processing, invoicing, delivery and collections.
  • Ensure accurate collection of billed amounts and maintain systematic control of outstanding balances, acting as the direct interface between Finance, Treasury and DC Operations to resolve discrepancies.
  • Conduct price and financial sustainability audits: review pricing to ensure revenue fully covers logistical and operational costs, and identify risks of underpricing or misalignment between the commercial and logistics models.
  • Play an active role in preventing financial losses related to delivery operations by reconciling audited DC shipments with discrepancies reported by stores (shortages, overages, damages or returns), and ensure that when correct departure from the DC is confirmed, the carrier is formally held responsible for the shortage.
  • Design and implement controls, even within a developing operational model, ensuring management of incoming, outgoing and return invoices (NFs) and reconciliation between physical, tax and financial movements. Identify and mitigate financial risks in third‑party operations.
  • Work in direct, ongoing partnership with DC Operations, Cold Chain and Transportation teams, as well as with commercial controlling that calculates Logistics Fee values.
  • Support process improvement, standardization of controls and the creation of clear workflows between Supply and Finance, including creation and monitoring of financial and logistics KPIs.
  • Prepare analyses, reports and management presentations for Finance and Supply Chain Directors, translating operational data into financial risks and clear action plans.
