About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the accounting close routines by posting entries, performing reconciliations, and conducting basic analyses of balance sheet and income statement accounts;
- Execute and monitor account reconciliations, ensuring balance consistency and identifying any discrepancies for adjustment;
- Assist in analyzing account variances, contributing to the quality of reported information;
- Provide support for corporate accounting activities, ensuring transactions are recorded correctly in accordance with accounting standards;
- Work together with transactional areas, monitoring postings and supporting correct accounting classification;
- Assist in organizing documents and information for internal and external audits;
- Contribute to process improvements within the department, supporting the standardization of routines and controls;
- Support initiatives to internalize activities, participating in the organization and execution of accounting routines.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience in accounting routines, especially in closing and reconciliations;
- Basic knowledge of corporate accounting and accounting standards (CPC/IFRS);
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data control and analysis;
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines;
- Developing analytical profile with an interest in deepening technical knowledge;
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team, interacting with different areas.
