About the role
- Handle civil litigation with a focus on high-volume disputes
- Review legal actions to determine the company’s representation strategy, assess financial risk, gather supporting information, and manage the case portfolio with external law firms
- Negotiate and implement judicial settlements internally
- Monitor case progress and update internal systems
- Support management of internal deadlines and court deadlines
- Liaise with external law firms and other departments within the company.
Requirements
- Experience in litigation
- Knowledge of case management systems
- Law degree (required)
- Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) (required)
- Experience in civil litigation, particularly high-volume matters, negotiating judicial settlements, and managing court deadlines (preferred)
- Strong legal writing skills
- Analytical mindset, proactive, takes initiative to propose solutions, organized to handle multiple tasks and concurrent deadlines, results-oriented with strong attention to detail, good communication and teamwork skills
- Experience negotiating judicial settlements
