About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze and prepare consolidation, support the monthly close process, and review accounting procedures;
- Prepare and review Financial Statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards;
- Enhance controls, optimize processes, automate routines, and review variations in balance sheet and income statement accounts;
- Recognize and disclose transactions involving acquisitions of subsidiaries, joint ventures, and other investments;
- Support internal and external audits;
- Analyze new accounting standards and map their impacts;
- Assist with financial/accounting due diligence for company acquisitions; coordinate with consultants for PPA (Purchase Price Allocation), valuation reports, and impairment testing;
- Interact with other departments, primarily tax, finance, legal, planning, integration, M&A, and others;
- Monitor performance indicators and develop improvement plans;
- Analyze classifications of expenditures as investments, costs, or expenses; review depreciation and amortization of fixed assets and intangible assets;
- Perform other tasks as assigned by leadership.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Accounting;
- Active CRC registration (Regional Accounting Council);
- MS Office (Word, advanced Excel, and PowerPoint);
- Knowledge of accounting standards;
- Audit experience is a plus;
- Experience with ERP systems.
