Natural Gas Commercialization Specialist
Grupo EnergisaSpecialist in commercialization of natural gas managing contracting processes and market intelligence. Contributing to the portfolio optimization and strategic projects of Grupo Energisa.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Structure, execute and monitor natural gas commercialization operations in the spot, flexible and firm markets, supporting the construction and optimization of the company’s supply portfolio;
- Lead contracting processes with producers, marketers, transporters, end customers and other industry agents, including RFQs, commercial negotiations, proposal analysis, scenario development and transactional closing of operations;
- Support the structuring, negotiation and management of natural gas purchase, sale and transportation contracts, ensuring regulatory, operational and commercial compliance, as well as appropriate use of available logistics infrastructure;
- Develop pricing models and economic analyses for natural gas supply and sales contracts, considering market variables, energy indexers, taxes, transportation, flexibility, commercial risks and competitiveness of offers;
- Prepare reports, market studies and indicators related to the free and regulated natural gas markets, monitoring prices, supply, demand, regulatory developments, competitiveness and business opportunities;
- Support the management of the supply and demand portfolio, identifying opportunities for optimization, arbitrage, contractual flexibility and value capture;
- Participate in the structuring of new products, solutions and strategic projects related to natural gas commercialization and supply, contributing to business expansion, energy portfolio integration and development of new market opportunities for the company;
- Work on structuring projects related to LNG, CNG, Small-Scale LNG, biomethane, supply for thermal power plants and other energy solutions involving natural gas;
- Contribute to the development of market intelligence, processes, indicators, governance and best practices for the Natural Gas Commercialization area.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or related fields;
- Experience in market intelligence and/or business development in natural gas.
- Required skills:
- Natural gas commercialization and supply;
- Structuring and negotiation of natural gas purchase, sale and transportation contracts;
- Natural gas pricing and economic modeling;
- Gas portfolio management;
- Market intelligence and supply/demand analysis;
- Trading and gas spot operations;
- Financial modeling and risk assessment;
- Advanced Excel and data analysis;
- Preparation of executive presentations;
- Advanced English (preferred).
