About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop well-documented work programs that achieve the expected objectives;
Define the resources required to meet the objectives of the audit and risk management engagement;
Perform a preliminary assessment of relevant risks related to the audited activity, so that the audit objectives reflect the results of that assessment;
Provide consulting services related to operations for which they were previously responsible;
Audit risks, controls and processes in the company’s main areas and activities, identifying necessary corrective actions and contributing to the preparation of action plans for implementing mitigating measures;
Review operations and programs to assess the scope of results and whether they are consistent with established goals and objectives, to determine whether operations and programs are being implemented or developed as intended;
Evaluate controls consistently with the objectives of the engagement and remain alert to control deficiencies;
Incorporate knowledge of controls obtained through consulting work into the process of identifying and assessing the organization’s significant risk exposures;
Identify, analyze, evaluate, and document sufficient information to achieve the audit objectives;
Communicate audit results through clear and assertive reports.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration;
Experience in roles such as Internal Auditor, Risk Manager, or in consulting;
Good written communication skills.
The following will be considered a plus:
Internal audit certification;
Knowledge of Brazilian Electric Sector legislation; Financial Mathematics; Accounting Principles; Internal Processes and Controls; Risk Management; Project Management; and the operational, administrative and financial procedures adopted by the Group;
Self-discipline and the ability to handle multiple concurrent demands.
