Key responsibilities & impact

Handling, processing and organizing large volumes of primary and secondary data for market studies.
Developing visualizations and interactive dashboards using Business Intelligence tools to communicate insights clearly and effectively.
Applying advanced data analysis techniques, including statistical inference, Machine Learning and geoprocessing, to turn data into insights that support the group's electric power planning and strategic decisions.
Building energy and demand forecasts, identifying trends and market behavior patterns.

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Economics or other fields related to Data Science.
Advanced Excel.
Programming in Python and/or R.
Experience with visualization and Business Intelligence tools, such as Power BI.
Nice to have: VBA and QGIS.
Intermediate English (reading and technical communication).
Desired: Familiarity with standards REN 1000, PRODIST and PRORET.
Fundamentals of probability, statistical inference, generalized linear models, multivariate statistics and econometrics.
Methods and techniques of Artificial Intelligence, including Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Optimization.
Handling and processing large volumes of data.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or R.
Knowledge of geoprocessing, spatial statistics and the use of Geographic Information System (GIS) tools.
Experience using data sources such as IBGE and energy databases.
Familiarity with electric sector regulation, including distributed generation and market opening.
