About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contractual statistical reports in Excel connected to SQL Server databases via Power Query: execute and maintain their operation;
Enhance and/or adapt existing reports to meet potential demands from the Regulatory Agency;
Create new reports using the same technique to address new Regulatory Agency requirements;
Interactive statistical dashboards in Power BI: ensure data refresh and proper functioning of existing dashboards;
Improve existing dashboards to enhance usability and design, keeping them up to date with the latest platform features;
Create new dashboards according to area demands using development and governance best practices;
Structured queries and SQL Server programming: understand the structure of the databases used by the operations area (KCOR, SAT, Toll, Radar, ITS);
Maintain and adapt queries used in existing reports and dashboards;
Create, adapt and maintain Tables, Views, Stored Procedures and Functions in a Data Warehouse environment;
Create, adapt and maintain data load and transformation processes in a Data Warehouse environment;
Statistical analyses: implement concepts of statistical analysis and forecasting using programming languages Python/R;
Apply Business Intelligence concepts to generate insights and enable data-driven decision making;
Implement statistical models to measure the efficiency of Highway Operation processes;
Propose improvements to operational processes and activities based on data analysis.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
Experience in data analysis.
Advanced SQL Server: SQL queries, creation of Views, Stored Procedures and Functions;
Advanced Power BI: report design, Power Query, DAX, Dataflows, Data Gateway; connection to SQL Server;
Business Intelligence: Data Warehouse and ETL concepts;
