About the role
- Consolidate and analyze multi-year plans, preparing progress/tracking reports and recommending improvements.
- Conduct prospective studies on topics that enable implementation of the company's sustainability guidelines.
- Keep up to date with new trends, concepts and sustainability practices in the local and global market by attending courses, talks and events, assessing their potential application across the organization’s areas and businesses, as well as for clients and local communities.
- Implement sustainable development programs across the organization by conducting studies and needs assessments to demonstrate the importance of applying corporate sustainability methods in business operations, based on environmental stewardship, human and social dignity, and financial prosperity.
- Support the Integrated Management System (IMS) by evaluating IMS data and indicators and proposing corrective, preventive and improvement measures as required.
- Management of PGRS (Solid Waste Management Plans) and water potability.
- Provide support for LO and LI environmental programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Environmental Engineering or related fields.
- Experience in waste management and environmental licensing/permitting.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Knowledge of indicators/KPIs.
- Knowledge of contract management and process management.
- English proficiency preferred.
