About the role
- Ensure the development of compensation analyses and studies, including defining tools and applying salary policies; analyze requests and prepare opinions/reports on proposals and studies, promotions, merit increases, and other changes to job positions and salaries.
- Lead the development of research on market trends in compensation, comparing internal practices with the market by contracting consulting services and subject-matter experts, to support analysis of external competitiveness and the definition of the company’s compensation policies.
- Ensure the implementation and maintenance of compensation methodologies by producing studies and reports, providing guidance and resolving questions that arise during project execution, aiming to adopt best practices.
- Ensure the implementation of fixed and variable compensation programs and short- and long-term incentive plans through diagnostics and analysis of presented needs, to secure internal equity, external competitiveness, and employee motivation.
- Provide area and business-unit managers with accurate guidance on matters related to compensation processes and policies, maintaining close relationships with consultants to present targeted solutions for diagnosed or reported needs.
- Provide inputs to the head of compensation in decisions related to compensation processes through the development and presentation of studies and simulations.
- Contribute to the development of new projects and tools for managers by participating in seminars, reading industry publications, exchanging information with professionals in the field and Corporate HR, and staying up to date on market practices and HR-related topics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Psychology, or related fields.
- Experience in the compensation area.
- Knowledge of the SAP system.
- Familiarity with metrics and indicators (HR metrics).
- Availability to work in São Bernardo do Campo, SP, Brazil.
