About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work on backend development using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model — CAP
- Build, maintain and evolve services, APIs and cloud-native applications within the SAP ecosystem
- Support integrations with SAP and non‑SAP systems, ensuring quality, security and traceability
- Participate in technical analysis, documentation and support and maintenance of developed solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in any information technology field or related area
- Experience with backend development in SAP Cloud applications
- Mandatory certification: SAP Certified Associate - Backend Developer - SAP Cloud Application Programming Model | C_CPE
- Preferred: Experience with Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript or Java in the context of SAP CAP
- Knowledge of SAP BTP, CDS, OData, REST APIs and service integration
- Experience with cloud development, CI/CD pipelines, Git version control and architectural best practices
- Experience with testing, troubleshooting and technical documentation
- Previous experience in institutional or corporate environments with change governance
