About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead Qualification: The SDR works with lists generated by AWS, self-sourced lists, or lists from marketing and performs an initial analysis to determine whether they have potential to become clients in the education sector.
  • Research and Prospecting: Conducts detailed research on identified companies and contacts to understand their needs and pain points and assess fit with the offered solution.
  • Initial Outreach: Contacts leads via multiple channels, such as email, phone, or social media, to present the company and its products/services.
  • Meeting Scheduling: After identifying qualified leads, the SDR schedules meetings with the sales team to continue the sales process.
  • Cadence Management: Uses automation and cadence-management tools to maintain consistent contact with leads, nurturing them until they are ready to advance in the sales process.
  • Feedback to Marketing: Provides ongoing feedback to the marketing team on the quality of leads received, helping optimize campaigns and strategies.
  • Collaboration with Sales Team: Works closely with the sales team, handing off qualified leads and assisting with meeting preparation.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with leads and present the company.
  • Persuasion: Ability to influence and persuade leads to advance in the sales process.
  • Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks and leads simultaneously.
  • Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and maintain motivation.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to different types of leads and situations.
  • Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of the products and services offered.
  • Tool Proficiency: Proficiency with CRM, prospecting, and marketing automation tools.
  • Qualifications: Proven experience as an SDR or in business development.
  • Familiarity with negotiation and qualification frameworks such as BANT, AIDA, and SPIN Selling.
  • Knowledge of the IT sector and cloud solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Resilience and ability to overcome challenges and meet targets.
