About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, code, and deliver end-to-end frontend and backend solutions for our e-commerce platform in a collaborative environment.
Promote and maintain clean, readable, and well-tested code (unit, integration, and end-to-end tests), ensuring application health, performance, and scalability.
Conduct technical refinement of new initiatives, propose continuous improvements, and evolve existing code through Code Reviews and Pair Programming.
Actively participate in technical and product decisions, supporting the definition of operational standards and engineering procedures.
Deploy, monitor, and track health, performance, and availability metrics for the production environment.
Serve as a technical reference for the team, sharing programming best practices and keeping application documentation up to date.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience with Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc.)
Proficiency in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Solid knowledge of relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases
Experience with caching solutions (Redis)
Extensive knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) and React
Proficiency in Node.js, Git, and design patterns
Attention to interface details (pixel perfect), web accessibility, and semantic HTML
Knowledge and practice with the automated testing pyramid (Jest, Cypress, JUnit)
Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines (CI/CD)
Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, Sentry)
Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment
