About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform analysis, monitoring and continuous improvement of transportation processes, ensuring operational efficiency, control of logistics costs and support for decision-making.
  • Conduct transportation operations analyses, identifying opportunities to reduce costs, increase productivity, improve service levels and simplify processes.
  • Monitor and analyze the main logistics cost lines, understanding their impact on operational results and proposing corrective or preventive actions.
  • Define, update and monitor operational and financial KPIs, ensuring visibility of results, deviations, trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Support the design and review of processes, procedures and operational routines, contributing to greater standardization, control and efficiency.
  • Manage operational productivity by analyzing utilization, carrier performance, cost per route, freight costs, service levels, operational capacity and other relevant variables.
  • Identify operational opportunities and support the implementation of continuous improvement projects with a focus on efficiency, synergy between operations and financial impact.
  • Build reports, databases and analyses to track results, supporting leadership in decision-making.
  • Support the financial impact assessment of initiatives, projects and operational changes, connecting operational execution to business results.
  • Track transportation KPIs, productivity, costs, provider performance and service levels, proposing action plans when necessary.
  • Support the management and monitoring of contracts with service providers, analyzing performance, contractual compliance, optimization opportunities and financial impacts.
  • Interface with partner areas such as Procurement, Operations, Logistics Innovation, Finance and other teams involved in the logistics chain.
  • Contribute to the analysis of synergies across operations, seeking opportunities for economies of scale, network optimization, cost reduction and process improvement.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience in transportation and logistics operations.
  • Knowledge of performance management, data analysis and monitoring of operational and financial KPIs.
  • Analytical ability to understand logistics cost lines and their impact on operational and business results.
  • Ability to structure analyses, reports, action plans and recommendations based on data.
  • Knowledge of logistics processes, operational productivity, freight management, carriers and service-level management.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement practices, logistics innovation and new technologies applied to operations.
  • Collaborative profile, with strong communication skills and the ability to interface with different areas.
  • Proactive attitude to identify opportunities, propose improvements and follow up on implementation of actions.
  • Desirable: knowledge of cost management, financial analysis and project impact assessment.
  • Desirable: familiarity with Google tools, Looker, BigQuery, SQL and dashboard creation.
